Neuvicq town hall

Neuvicq is a southwestern French community with 452 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montguyon ). The inhabitants are called Neuvicquois .

location

Neuvicq is located in the south of the Saintonge about 53 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Neuvicq is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chevanceaux in the north and north-west, Guizengeard in the north-east, Boresse-et-Martron in the east, Le Fouilloux in the south-east, Montguyon in the south, Saint-Martin-d'Ary in the south and south-west, Orignolles in the south-west, Montlieu -la-Garde to the west and Saint-Palais-de-Négrignac to the west and northwest.
