Guizengeard Town Hall (Mairie)

Guizengeard is a western French community with 170 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Charente-Sud (until 2015: Brossac ). The inhabitants are called Guizengeardais .

location

Guizengeard is about 41 kilometers south-southwest of Angoulême . Guizengeard is surrounded by the neighboring communities Boisbreteau in the north and west, Oriolles in the north, Chillac in the north and northeast, Passirac in the northeast, Brossac in the east, Saint-Vallier in the east and southeast, Boresse-et-Martron in the south, Neuvicq in the southwest as well Chevanceaux to the west and south-west.
