Triac-Lautrait is about 13 kilometers east of Cognac on the Charente . Neighboring municipalities of Triac-Lautrait are Foussignac in the north, Mérignac in the east and northeast, Bassac in the east and southeast, Saint-Même-les-Carrières in the south, Mainxe-Gondeville with Gondeville in the southwest and Jarnac in the west.
