Chassors is a French commune with 1,102 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Jarnac . The inhabitants are called Capsortiens .

Chassors is about six kilometers east-northeast of Cognac . Neighboring municipalities of Chassors are Sigogne in the north and northeast, Les Métairies in the east, Jarnac in the southeast, Julienne in the south and southwest, Nercillac in the west and Réparsac in the northwest.
