Attractions

  • Ruins of the Abbey of La Frenade, founded in 1140 from Cîteaux with the help of the Lords of Cognac, destroyed during the Huguenot Wars . Only the south wall of the nave (12th century) and the chapter house (16th century) have been preserved.
