The Canton Cognac 2 is a French canton in the Arrondissement of Cognac , in the department of Charente and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It covers a sub-area of the city of Cognac and six other communities southwest of Cognac. It was newly created in 2015 when the French cantons were reorganized nationwide.
