The Canton of Montmoreau-Saint-Cybard was 2015 a French constituency in Charente and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It comprised 14 parishes in the Arrondissement of Angoulême ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Montmoreau-Saint-Cybard . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Jean-Michel Bolvin from the UMP party for the years 1987 to 2015 .
