Location of the canton of Val de Nouère in the Charente department

The canton Val de Nouère is a French constituency in Charente and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It includes 23 parishes from the arrondissements of Angoulême and Cognac . It was newly created in 2015 when the French cantons were reorganized nationwide. The name refers to the Nouère , a tributary of the Charente .
