The Canton of Villebois-Lavalette was 2015 a French canton in the department of Charente and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It comprised 17 parishes in the Arrondissement of Angoulême ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Villebois-Lavalette . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Didier Jobit for the years 2011–2015.
