The canton of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne was a French canton in the Charente department and in the then Poitou-Charentes region until 2015 . It comprised eleven parishes in the Arrondissement of Angoulême ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Aubeterre-sur-Dronne . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Alain Rivière was last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2004 to 2015.
