The canton Soyaux was 2015 a French canton in the department of Charente and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It included five parishes in the Angoulême arrondissement ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Soyaux . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Abel Migné ( PS ) was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements for the years 1988–2015 .
