The Canton Brossac was 2015 a French canton in the department of Charente and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It comprised 12 parishes in the arrondissement of Cognac ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Brossac . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Marc Courjaud for the years 1994–2015.
