The Canton Confolens-Nord was by 2015 a French canton in the department of Charente and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It comprised eight parishes in the Arrondissement Confolens ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Confolens . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Philippe Bouty in 2011–2015.
