Pleuville is a French municipality with 342 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Confolens and the canton of Charente-Vienne (until 2015 Confolens-Nord ). The inhabitants are called pleuvillois .

Pleuville is located about 55 kilometers north-northeast of Angoulême and is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Mauprévoir in the north, Pressac in the east, Épenède in the southeast, Alloue in the south, Benest in the south and southwest, Chatain in the west and southwest, Asnois in the west and Charroux in the northwest. The municipality is crossed by the Transon River.
