Lupsault is a French commune with a population of 99 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Confolens and the canton of Charente-Nord ( Aigre until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Supisultiens or Lupsaultiens .

geography

Lupsault is located about 27 kilometers north-northwest of Angoulême and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Gours in the north, Saint-Fraigne in the east and northeast, Oradour in the south and southeast, Barbezières in the south and southwest and Chives in the west.
