Turgon is a French commune with a population of 86 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Confolens and the canton Charente-Bonnieure (until 2015 Champagne-Mouton ). The inhabitants are called turgonnais .

Turgon is about 41 kilometers north-northeast of Angoulême . Turgon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Champagne-Mouton in the north, le Vieux-Cérier in the northeast, Le Grand-Madieu in the east and southeast, Parzac in the south, Beaulieu-sur-Sonnette in the southwest and Chassiecq in the west.
