Aussac-Vadalle is a French municipality with 513 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Confolens ( Angoulême until 2017 ) and the canton Boixe-et-Manslois ( Saint-Amant-de-Boixe until 2015 ).

Aussac-Vadalle is about 21 kilometers north-northeast of Angoulême . Aussac-Vadalle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nanclars in the north, Val-de-Bonnieure in the northeast, Coulgens in the east, Jauldes in the southeast, Tourriers in the south, Villejoubert and Saint-Amant-de-Boixe in the west and southwest and Maine-de- Boixe in the northwest.
