Bioussac is a French municipality with 227 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Confolens and the canton Charente-Nord (until 2015: canton Ruffec ). The inhabitants are called Bioussacois .

geography

Bioussac is located about 43 kilometers north-northeast of Angoulême . The Charente flows on the northwestern edge of the municipality . Bioussac is surrounded by the neighboring communities Taizé-Aizie in the north and north-west, Nanteuil-en-Vallée in the south and east, Barro in the south-west and Condac in the north-west.
