Ventouse is a French municipality with 126 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Confolens and the canton of Boixe-et-Manslois (until 2015 Mansle ). The inhabitants are called Ventousiens .
geography
Ventouse is about 32 kilometers north-northeast of Angoulême . Ventouse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Couture in the north and northwest, Saint-Sulpice-de-Ruffec in the north, Beaulieu-sur-Sonnette in the northeast, Cellefrouin in the east and southeast, Cellettes in the south and Luxé in the west.
