Location of the canton Boixe-et-Manslois in the Charente department

The Canton Boixe-et-Manslois is a French canton in the department of Charente and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It includes 37 parishes from the Arrondissement Confolens . It was newly created in 2015 when the French cantons were reorganized nationwide. The two parts of the name designate a forest area belonging to the canton area ( Forêt de Boixe ) and the landscape around Mansle .
