Bayers Castle

Bayer is a town and commune Déléguée in the community Aunac-sur-Charente with 117 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .

The municipality of Bayers was merged with Aunac and Chenommet on January 1, 2017 to form the Commune nouvelle Aunac-sur-Charente. The municipality of Bayers belonged to the Arrondissement Confolens and the canton Boixe-et-Manslois (until 2015: canton Mansle ).

Neighboring communities of Bayers were Chenon in the north, Chenommet in the northeast, Aunac in the east, Moutonneau in the south, Fontenille in the southwest and Lonnes in the west.
