Location of the canton of Val de Tardoire in the Charente department

The canton Val de Tardoire is a French canton in the department of Charente and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It includes 27 parishes from the Angoulême arrondissement . It was newly created in 2015 when the French cantons were reorganized nationwide. Its name refers to the Tardoire river .
