Centralisateur bureau

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In France, a bureau centralisateur is the central election office of a constituency.

The tasks of a bureau centralisateur are defined in article R69 of the French electoral law.

The votes are counted in the polling stations of the constituency. An election protocol is created there and sent to the bureau centralisateur.

The results obtained by the individual polling stations may not be changed in the bureau centralisateur. In the bureau centralisateur, a summary election protocol is drawn up. The president of the office announces the election results of the constituency.
