The canton of Hiersac was 2015 a French canton in the department of Charente and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It included 13 parishes in the Angoulême arrondissement ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Hiersac . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Didier Louis was last representative in the conseil général des Départements for the years 1998–2015.
