Moulidars is a western French community with 725 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Val de Nouère (until 2015: canton of Hiersac ). The inhabitants are called Montliardais .

location

Moulidars is located about 15 kilometers west of Angoulême in the cultural landscape of the Angoumois . Moulidars is surrounded by the neighboring communities Mérignac in the north, Douzat in the northeast, Hiersac in the east, Champmillon in the southeast, Saint-Simeux in the south, Vibrac in the southwest and Saint-Simon and Bassac in the west.

The National Route 141 runs through the municipality .
