The Route nationale 141 , or N 141 or RN 141 for short , is a French national road .

history

The road was established between Saintes and Clermont-Ferrand in 1824 and goes back to route 161. In 1842 the course of the road to the west of Clermont-Ferrand was changed. The National Road 141 ^B and part of the national road 141 ^A ran from 1933 to 1973 on the original route.

After changing the route, the length of the N 141 was 354.5 kilometers. In 1973 the section between Limoges and Clermont-Ferrand was graduated. From 1991 to 2006, the route between Limoges and the departmental border to Puy-de-Dôme was upgraded again to the N 141.

The N 141 is to be completely expanded into an expressway. The old route through the localities is graded to Départementsstraße 941 (with a few exceptions).

The Route nationale 141 ^A short N 141 ^A or RN 141 ^A , was a French national road and from 1933 to 1973, a side branch of the N 141 of these in Chamalières branches and a road junction with the National Road 89 southwest of the Puy de Dome went .

On this route, it also crossed the former national road 9 near Clermont-Ferrand . The length was 19 kilometers. By 1842, the part of the street that was stepped to Départementsstraße 941 was integrated into the course of the N 141.
