The Route nationale 137 , or N 137 or RN 137 for short , is a French national road .

history

The road was laid in 1824 between Saint-Malo and a junction with the national road 10 at Saint-André-de-Cubzac and goes back to the route impériale 157. Their length was 476 kilometers.

In 1973 the route of the national road was relocated to some bypass roads and the N 137 A side branch . This shortened their length by a few kilometers. The N 137 was expanded as an expressway over long distances. In 2006 it was graduated between Saint-Malo and Rennes , as well as Nantes and Saint-André-de-Cubzac, with the exception of the bypasses of La Rochelle and Saintes .
