The Route nationale 132 , shortly N 132 or RN 132 , was a French national road .

history

The road was established between Bordeaux and Saint-Geours-de-Maremne in 1824 and goes back to route 152 impériale. Their length was 132 kilometers. In 1832 it was extended to include the section between Bayonne and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port on what is now Départementsstraße 22 , running over the Route impériale des Cimes.

In 1849 the first route change between Bayonne and Hasparren was made to today's Départementsstraße 936 and Départementsstraße 21 . In 1881 the national road between Bayonne and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port was moved into the valley of the Nive .

The next change came with the reform of 1949: National Road 10 took over the northern section between Bordeaux and Saint-Geours-de-Maremne . In addition, the section between Cambo-les-Bains and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port was taken over by national road 618 . For this purpose, the section of national road 10 between Langon and Tartas was rededicated as the N 132.

In 1973 this national road was downgraded. In 2004 the former section of the N 132 between Langon and Captieux was given the number N 524 as part of the Itinéraire à Grand Gabarit . In 2001, the number N was 132 of a partial bypass of Cherbourg used. In 2006 the western part was downgraded and in 2009 the rest of the eastern part was rededicated as National Road 13 .
