The N107 was a French national road that was set in two parts in 1824 between the N9 south of Saint-Chély-d'Apcher and the N106 near Nîmes with a break from the N88. It goes back to the route impériale 127. In 1841 it was realigned between Balsièges and Florac and in 1843 it was realigned between Florac and Saint-Jean-du-Gard. The construction work for the new route dragged on until 1884. Its total length was 188 kilometers from 1884. The two old guided tours between Balsièges and Saint-Jean-du-Gard via Florac included these streets:

Part 1:

  • D 986 Balsièges - junction with D231 (1933-1973 part of the N586)
  • D 231 for 1 kilometer
  • D 31 junction with D231 - Molines
  • D 907 B Molines - junction with N106 (1869-1973 part of the N107bis)

Section 2:

  • D 983 Le Mazel - Col du Rey (1933-1973 part of the N583)
  • D 9 Col du Rey - Lozère department border (Corniche des Cévennes)
  • D 260 Département border degree - junction with D907

In 1973 the section between Florac and Nîmes was graduated and the other part was taken over by the N106. In 2006 the part between the N9 and Mende was graduated. In 1978 the N7 F became the N107. This was graduated in 2002 in Le Pontet and in 2004 in Avignon.
