The N208 was a French national road established in 1883 between Barcelonnette and the N207 southeast of Annot. Their length was 82 kilometers. With the establishment of the second version of the Route des Alpes in the form of the N202, it had to give up two kilometers at the northern end. In 1973 it was downgraded.
