The Route nationale 113 , or N 113 or RN 113 for short , is a French national road that was established between Toulouse and Narbonne in 1824. It goes back to the Route impériale 133. Their length was 151.5 kilometers. In 1949 it was extended to the line between Bordeaux and Marseille by the reform, in which large axes were formed. It took over sections of many other national roads:

The length grew to a total of 574.5 kilometers. In 2006 it was added to the section from the N572 on the bypass of Arles to the continuation of the A54 at Saint-Martin-de-Crau and the section between junction 28 of the A9 near Montpellier and junction 25 of the A9, with the exception of the section of the N572, which has now been developed as an expressway Nîmes graduated. A further gradation will take place as soon as the gap on the A54 near Arles has been closed.

N 113a

The Route nationale 113 A , or N 113 A or RN 113 A for short , was a branch of the N113 from 1933 to 1973, which connected it to the N124 in Toulouse. It is now a communal street.

N 113b

The Route nationale 113 B , N 113 B or RN 113 B for short , was a side branch of the N113 from 1969 to 1973, which branched off from this west of Narbonne and led to the N9 south of Narbonne. It was part of the Narbonne bypass. From 1971 it led to the A9. In 1978 it was renumbered to N213. In 1992 this was then part of the N9 and in 2006 it was upgraded to the D6009.

N 113d

The Route nationale 113 D , N 113 D or RN 113 D for short , was a side branch of the N113 from 2003 to 2006, which served as a bypass of the center of Castelsarrasin, which was crossed by the N113. Today it bears the number D813.
