The Route nationale 14 , or N 14 or RN 14 for short , is a French national road .

It was established between Saint-Denis and Le Havre in 1824 and goes back to Route 15 impériale. Their length was 203 kilometers. In 1933 she was led from Epinay-sur-Seine on the outskirts of Paris and the old route from there to Saint-Denis became the N 14 A . This extended them by four kilometers. The piece north of the intersection with the N310 A comes from the RD11; south of it from the RD12. In 1949 it gave the section between Rouen and Le Havre to the newly created national road 13 Bis . This shortened it by 90 kilometers. In the course of time it was expanded in sections to form an expressway and relocated to bypass roads. In 2006 it was downgraded except for the extension of the A15 autoroute at Pontoise.

N14b

The N14 B was from 1933 to 1973 a side branch of the N14 in Bonsecours, which represented a parallel alternative to this. Today it bears the number D914.

N14c

The N14 C was a branch of the N14 from 1933 to 1973, which branched off from it within Le Havre and ran to the N182. In 1978 it was renumbered to the N115.

N514

The N514 was a branch of the N14 from 1975 to 2000, which ran between it and junction 3 of the A15. It goes back to the southern bypass on which the N14 was laid and was created by continuing the construction of the expressway towards Paris and upgrading it to the A15. Today it bears the number D141.

N2014

The N2014 was the number of two side branches of the N14. These were created on the old route of the N14 when it was relocated to bypass roads. The first existed from 1987 to 2006 between Pontoise and Puiseux-Pontoise and the second from 2001 to 2006 in Saint-Clair-sur-Epte.
