The Route nationale 18 , or N 18 or RN 18 for short , was a French national road that was laid down in 1824 between Verdun and the Belgian border near Aubange . It goes back to the route impériale 21. Their length was 71.5 kilometers. In 1973 the piece was graduated between Longwy and the Belgian border. In 1978 the N3 took over the section between Verdun and Étain and the N18 was led from Longwy to the Luxembourg border:

  • N 18 Etain - Longwy-Haut
  • N 52 Longwy-Haut - Longwy-Bas
  • N 52 A Longwy-Bas - Luxembourg border (N5)

In 2006 it was downgraded.

N 1018

The Route nationale 1018 , N 1018 or RN 1018 for short , was a side branch of the N18 from 2005 to 2006, which branched off from this east of Étain, bypassing Warcq to the east, and then flowing into the N3 (Ex N390). Today it is part of the D603 in the Meuse department.
