The Route nationale 35 , or N 35 or RN 35 for short , was a French national road .

The street number was added to the national road network in 1824. It goes back to Route 40 impériale. Their total length was 117 kilometers.

Until 1973 the route ran from Compiègne to Abbeville and thus represented a connecting road between these cities.

In 1973 the route was rededicated to different streets:

The section from Yzeux to Abbeville was taken over by the national road N1 , as it was relocated to a route via Amiens . The section between Amiens and Yzeux was then rededicated as the N235 national road. The N29 took over the section between Amiens and Longueau. In addition, the rest of the route was downgraded in the same year.

Until 2006, the street number was used on a route between Saint-Dizier and Verdun. There she had taken over a section of the national road N401 and the Voie Sacrée from 1978 :

  • N 401 Saint-Dizier - Bar-le-Duc
  • N VS Bar-le-Duc - Verdun
