The Route nationale 54 , or N 54 or RN 54 for short , was a national road in France .

The road ran from an intersection with National Road 3 in Metz to the border with Germany near Ittersdorf . At the border it connects to the federal highway 269 , which connects to the federal highway 50 bei Kommen . The route of the national road was determined in 1824 and goes back to route 72 impériale.

In 1973 the street was downgraded to Départementsstraße 954 . It ran completely through the Moselle department and was 41 kilometers long.

During the occupation by the Third Reich in World War II, the street was part of Reichsstraße 269.
