Ittersdorf (Saarländisch Itterschtroff ) is a district of the municipality Wallerfangen in the district of Saarlouis ( Saarland ). Ittersdorf was an independent municipality until the end of 1973.

history

The first written mention of the place took place in 1121 when the possessions of the Lubeln Abbey in today's Longeville-lès-Saint-Avold were listed .

As part of the Saarland regional and administrative reform , the previously independent municipality of Ittersdorf was assigned to the municipality of Wallerfangen on January 1, 1974 . Ittersdorf has been a district and a municipality since then.

Others

The place is known in the region for the annual "Ittersdorf Village Festival" with the "International Combine Harvester Race ".
