Düren is a district of the municipality Wallerfangen in the district of Saarlouis ( Saarland ). Until the end of 1973 Düren was an independent municipality.

history

Düren was first mentioned in a document in 1069.

As part of the Saarland regional and administrative reform , the previously independent municipality of Düren was assigned to the municipality of Wallerfangen on January 1, 1974 . Since then, Düren has been a district and a municipality.
