The N53bis was a national road in France from 1839 to 1973 .

The road was a branch of the national road N53. It branched off in Thionville and ran to the border with Germany at Perl . The total length was 20.5 kilometers. Their route lay entirely in the Moselle department .

In 1973 the national road was  rededicated to the national road N153 , which was downgraded in 2006 to the Département road D654, designated in Yutz and Thionville as D953 A.
