The Route nationale 418 , or N 418 or RN 418 for short , was a French national road that led from a road junction with the national road 53 in Thionville to the border with Germany near Ittersdorf . In 1973 the road was rededicated to a department road and since then has been designated D 918. The national road was completely in the Moselle department and had a length of 40 kilometers.
