The N454 was a French national road from 1933 to 1973 that ran between Cussy-les-Forges and Recey-sur-Ource . Their total length was 92 kilometers. The northernmost section between the N396 and the junction of the D102 on the southern outskirts of Recey was never developed as a continuously paved road. Due to the lack of signs from the south, this section can only be found with prior knowledge. From Recey you can guess it from the signs: D954 is marked on the "End of town" sign, but a few meters further the road makes a slight left bend with a branch straight ahead, where a signpost with "D102" is set up along the road is.
