The Route nationale 347 , or N 347 or RN 347 for short , was a French national road established in 1933 between Bray-Dunes and Lens. In 1973 it was downgraded to its full length. In 1982 the number was reassigned for a western bypass road from Saumur. It formed a side branch of the N147 that crossed the place. In 2006 it was downgraded to D347.

N 347bis

In 1970, a dual carriageway went into operation east of the N347 between La Bassée and Lens and was designated the N347bis . This was renumbered in 1978 to N47.

N 347c

The Route nationale 347 C , or N 347 C or RN 347 C for short , was put into operation as a northern bypass of Lens in 1975 between the N347 and N347bis. In 1976, the extension to Aix-Noulette on today's A26 took place. In 1978 the road was integrated into the newly dedicated N48 and in the same year the next renumbering took place in C26. It has been numbered A21 since 1982.
