Quality assurance of the Roads Wiki project

This article was due to substantive deficiencies in the quality assurance side of WikiProjekts streets entered. This is done in order to bring the quality of the articles on the subject of streets to an acceptable level. Please help to remedy the shortcomings in this article and please take part in the discussion !

The N16 was a French national road established between Sarcelles and Dunkerque in 1824. It goes back to route 17 impériale. Before 1815, they had a guided tour of Aire-sur-la-Lys. The length of the N16 was 260 kilometers. In 1973 it was reduced to the section between Sarcelles and Clermont. In 1978 the N1 took over the section between Breteuil and Amiens, the N25 between Amiens and Doullens and the N41 the section between Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise and its intersection with the N16 north of Saint-Pol. The other sections were already graduated in 1973.

N16a

The N16 ^A was a side branch of the N16 from 1933 to 1973, which branched off from it in Bergues and led to the Belgian border at Oost-Cappel, where it merged into the N308 (former N9 to Brussels). It originated from the old route of the N40. Their length was 15 kilometers.

N16b

The N16 ^B was a side branch of the N16 from 1933 to 1973, which branched off from it in Coudekerque-Branche and ran to Malo-les-Bains. Their length was 5.5 kilometers. A short part was used for the new N336 from 1978 to 2006.
