The N45 was a French national road established in 1824 between Marle and the Belgian border near Brunehaut. It goes back to the route imperiale 48. Their length was 98 kilometers. In 1967 it was led west past Anzin and Raismes. This expressway was the C27 motorway from 1981 to 1982 and is now part of the A23. In 1973 it was graduated between Marle and Jenlain, and between Raismes and the Belgian border. In 1978 the N49 took over the section between Raismes and Valenciennes and the N45 got a new route to Douai:
- N 45 Jenlain - Valenciennes
- interrupted by N30 (Ex N29)
- N 43 A Rouvignes - Auberchicourt
- N 43 Auberchicourt - Douai
This tour was phased in 2006.
