The Route nationale 99 , or N 99 or RN 99 for short , was a French national road .

history

The road was laid out in 1824 in two sections between Montauban and Plan-d'Orgon . It goes back to the route impériale 119 . Their total length was 354.9 kilometers, of which the first section was 49.5 km, the second 305 km. In 1973 the national road was completely graduated. From 1978 to 2006 there was a further road classified as N 99 in Nice on the old route of the national road 202 as a connection between the autobahn 8 , the national  roads national road 7 and 202. This was a municipal road until 2012 and is now a numberless route métropolitaine .

N 99a

The Route nationale 99 A , N 99 A or RN 99 A for short , was a side branch of the N 99, which connected the N 99 in Nîmes from 1970 to 1973 , after the national road 113 was relocated to the southern bypass of Nîmes in 1970. The N 99 A was 1973 999 Department of Road A gradual and by 2000 to a municipal road.
