Villefranche-d'Albigeois ( Occitan : Vilafranca d'Albigés ) is a French commune with 1,256 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). Cambon belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Le Haut Dadou (until 2015: canton of Villefranche-d'Albigeois ). The inhabitants are called Villefranchois .

Villefranche-d'Albigeois is about ten kilometers east-southeast of Albi . The Tarn limits the community to the north. Villefranche-d'Albigeois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sérénac in the north, Ambialet in the east and north-east, Le Fraysse in the east, Paulinet in the south-east, Teillet in the south, Terre-Clapier in the south-west, Mouzieys-Teulet in the west and south-west and Bellegarde-Marsal in the west and northwest.
The former route nationale 99 (today's D999) runs through the municipality .
