Parisot ( Occitan Parisòt ) is a French commune with 959 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Parisot belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Les Deux Rives (until 2015 Gaillac ). The inhabitants are called Parisotains .

geography

Parisot is located about 35 kilometers northeast of Toulouse and about 27 kilometers west-southwest of Albi . Parisot is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montans in the north, Peyrole in the east and northeast, Puybegon in the east and southeast, Saint-Gauzens in the south, Giroussens in the west and southwest and Loupiac in the northwest.
