Dénat ( Occitan Denat ) is a French commune with 792 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Dénat belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and is part of the canton of Saint-Juéry (until 2015 Réalmont ).

Dénat is about ten kilometers south-southeast of Albi am Dadou . Dénat is surrounded by the neighboring communities Labastide-Dénat in the north, Fréjairolles in the north-east, Fauch in the east, Ronel in the south, Lombers in the west and south-west and Lamillarié in the west and north-west.
