Labastide-Gabausse ( Occitan : La Bastida Gavaussa ) is a French commune in the Tarn department with 512 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Carmaux-2 Vallée du Cérou (until 2015 Carmaux-Sud ).

Labastide-Gabausse is about 14 kilometers north-northwest of Albi . Labastide-Gabausse is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Monestiés in the north and north-west, Combefa in the north, Saint-Benoît-de-Carmaux in the north-east, Blaye-les-Mines in the east, Taïx in the south and south-east, Mailhoc in the south and south-west and Virac in the West.
