La Sauzière-Saint-Jean ( Occitan : La Sausièra e Sant Joan ) is a southern French municipality with 267 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the Canton of Vignobles et Bastides (until 2015: Canton Salvagnac ).

La Sauzière-Saint-Jean is located about 50 kilometers north-northeast of Toulouse and about 21 kilometers southeast of Montauban . The municipality is crossed in the south by the Tescounet river. La Sauzière-Saint-Jean is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Puycelsi in the north and north-east, Salvagnac in the south and east, Montgaillard in the south and south-west, Saint-Urcisse in the south-west, Montdurausse in the west and Monclar-de-Quercy in the west and north-west.
