Mailhoc ( Occitan : Maluòc ) is a French commune with 300 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Albi-3 (until 2015: canton of Albi-Nord-Ouest ).

Mailhoc is about ten kilometers northwest of the center of Albi . The Vère flows through the municipality . Mailhoc is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Virac in the north and north-west, Labastide-Gabausse in the north-east, Taïx in the east, Cagnac-les-Mines in the south-east, Sainte-Croix in the south, Castanet in the south-west and Villeneuve-sur-Vère in the west.
